Upon breaking fast

Thahabath-thama-o wabtallatil-AAurooq, wathabatal-ajru in shaal-lah. ‘The thirst has gone and the veins are quenched, and reward is confirmed, if Allah wills.’

‘AAabdullah Ibn AAamr Ibn Al-AAas  related that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Indeed the fasting person has at the time of breaking fast, a supplication which is not rejected’. Ibn Abee Mulaykah رحمه الله said: ‘I Heard AAabdullah Ibn AAomar say when he broke his fast: Allahumma inne as-aluka birahmatikal-latee wasiAAat kulla shay, an taghfira lee. ‘O Allah, I ask You by Your mercy which envelopes all things, that You forgive me.’
